Solid phase extraction with clay as a sorbent consists of water sampling for extraction of pollutants and enhanced performance
NOVELTY – The solid-phase extraction with clay as a sorbent comprises an aid to extraction of pollutants from water sources, which facilitates automation and economy. Also claimed is a technique based on the process. CLAIMED TECHNIQUE – The technique collects water samples for detection of pollutants in e.g. trace amounts, without distortion by other constituents of the water. USE – In applied chemistry.
Main Application Field
D15 (Chemical or biological treatment of water, industrial waste and sewage – including purification, sterilising or testing water, scale prevention, treatment of sewage sludge, regeneration of active carbon which has been used for water treatment and impregnating water with gas e.g. CO2, but excluding plant and anti-pollution devices (C02).); J04 (Chemical/physical processes/apparatus – including catalysis, catalysts (excluding specific e.g. enzymatic or polymerisation catalysts), colloid chemistry, laboratory apparatus and methods, testing, controlling, general encapsulation, detection and sampling (excluding clinical testing) (B01J, L).)
