process of piperonal enrichment
NOVELTY – The method involves obtaining a mixture resulting from the reaction of synthesis of piperonal, where synthesis is made from an extract containing safrole from plants of the Lauraceae family or Piperaceae family. The mixture containing piperonal is adsorbed on activated charcoal. USE – Method for enrichment of piperonal. ADVANTAGE – The method ensures use of simple and easy adsorbent to obtain a mixture enriched in piperonal without the need to submit the material source of the piperonal operations involving heat, such as distillation or organic solvents involved in the case of liquid-liquid extraction, and the mixture resulting from the reaction of synthesis of piperonal is used directly in the operation of adsorption, and also provides that mixtures containing piperonal, resulting from reactions of synthesis of piperonal that are enriched to achieve levels of purity of around 97.4 percent.
Main Application Field
B02 (Fused ring heterocyclics.); E36 (Non-metallic elements, semi-metals (Se, Te, B, Si) and their compounds (except for E35).); J01 (Separation – including evaporation, crystallisation, solvent extraction, chromatography, dialysis, osmosis including drying gases and/or vapours, and separation of solids from gases, liquids and other solids. Isotope separation, filter materials (including molecular sieves for separation), and centrifuges (except where used for analysis) (B01D, B03, B04, B07B).)
