Method for purifying immunoglobulin G from human or animal serum by gel chromatography, involves diluting immunoglobulin with buffer, and injecting diluted immunoglobulin into chromatography column
NOVELTY – The method involves diluting immunoglobulin with a buffer, and injecting diluted immunoglobulin into a chromatography column, where the chromatography column contains stationary phase polyamine-agarose. High ionic strength protein is adsorbed in a stationary phase. The chromatography column is regenerated with sodium hydroxide solution. USE – Method for purifying immunoglobulin G (IgG) from human or animal serum by gel chromatography. ADVANTAGE – The method avoids bacterial contamination during purification process, and ensures high degree of pureness to the immunoglobulin in a cost-effective manner.
