NOVELTY – Lubricant oils production involves filtering and sieving used commercial lubricants, contaminated lubricant or contaminated mineral origin oils through stainless steel filter or system by heating line with a feeding system for removing solids. The obtained lubricant or mineral origin oils are evaporated through evaporator under high vacuum stainless steel, evaporation systems and condensing system in high vacuum to remove volatiles. The obtained lubricant or mineral origin oils are transferred into molecular distillation unit for carrying out to get distillate. USE – Method for treating and obtaining lubricant oils, preferably lubricants and thermal oils. ADVANTAGE – The method provides special lubricants or high temperature thermal oils from commercial lubricants in a simple, cost-effective and eco-friendly manner by reducing energy consumption and by avoiding use of solvents, and generates less waste at the end of the process, and minimizes operating time. DETAILED DESCRIPTION – Lubricant oils production involves filtering and sieving used commercial lubricants, contaminated lubricant or contaminated mineral origin oils through stainless steel filter or system by heating line with a feeding system for removing solids. The obtained lubricant or mineral origin oils are evaporated through evaporator under high vacuum stainless steel, evaporation systems and condensing system in high vacuum to remove volatiles. The obtained lubricant or mineral origin oils are transferred into molecular distillation unit for carrying out to get distillate, where the formed distillate is separated to obtain distillate fractions and waste from the film molecular distillation. DESCRIPTION OF DRAWING(S) – The drawing shows a graphical representation depicting behavior of percentage of distillate with function of temperature in the molecular distiller. (Drawing includes non-English language text).
Main Application Field
H07 (Lubricants and lubrication – this excludes self-lubricating surfaces e.g. PTFE coated surfaces and lubrication systems in general. The section includes lubricants of non-petroleum origin eg silicone oils (C10M).); H04 (Petroleum processing – including treating, cracking, reforming, gasoline preparation – biosynthesis based on hydrocarbon feedstocks is included (C10G).)
