NOVELTY – The device has four sections for receiving the current injections in an independent manner through the input ports (5,6,7,8). An initial section (1) has 1 millimeter (mm) length for amplifying an optical carrier wave, while two intermediate sections (2,3) of 3 mm length are provided for promoting the deletion of optical carrier wave modulation. A final section (4) of 1 mm in length is provided for reducing the noise level of the spontaneous emission by operation under a saturated absorption. An optical waveguide is provided for understanding the active region. USE – Device for use with a semiconductor optical amplifier with an optical cavity for removing an optical carrier wave modulation and remodulating the optical carrier wave. Can also be used for enabling simultaneous activity of photo-reception or removal (all claimed). ADVANTAGE – The final section of 1 millimeter in length is provided for reducing the noise level of the spontaneous emission by operation under a saturated absorption, where an optical waveguide is provided for understanding the active region, and thus ensures improved optical carrier wave modulation removal device that prevents the signal loss in the passage of the guide optical fiber of the optical guide, and also eliminates the need for standoffs and controlling variables of bias for reducing the size and cost of the device.
