Method for scanning stimulation frequency of sweating of patient during e.g. hyperhidrosis treatment, involves searching and identifying lower electrode-skin impedance, and setting individual stimulated parameter
NOVELTY – The method involves scanning continuous and selectable cyclic current. Matched impedance of an electrode-skin is determined. Lower electrode-skin impedance is searched and identified. Individual stimulated parameter is set. RMS current ranging from 0.1-10 mA and initial frequency from 200 Hz are initiated. Linear scanning is performed at frequency of 5 kHz at 5 ms. Shape of waveform is varied from triangular, sinusoidal or square shapes. Impedance values are determined corresponding to each frequency value. USE – Method for scanning stimulation frequency of sweating of a patient during hyperhidrosis treatment and cystic fibrosis diagnosis. ADVANTAGE – The method enables determining frequency of lower impedance of an electrode in a better manner, ensures comfort during hyperhidrosis treatment and cystic fibrosis diagnosis and minimizes burns to patients. DESCRIPTION OF DRAWING(S) – The drawing shows a flowchart illustrating a stimulation frequency scanning method. ‘(Drawing includes non-English language text)’
