A method for the production of olefins, an olefin, a polyolefin, and use of the polyolefin
NOVELTY – Carboxylic acid is produced by fermenting organic substrate(s) obtained from renewable and natural raw material. The produced carboxylic acid is subsequently subjected to anodic decarboxylation reaction to obtain olefin. USE – Manufacture of olefin e.g. ethylene, propylene, butylene and pentene used for preparing polyolefin e.g. polypropylene and polyethylene used for diapers, tampons, sanitary/hygiene products, carry bags, trash bags, industrial/agricultural films, nonwoven webs, flexible packages for foodstuffs, cosmetics, perfumes, cleaning products, sunscreen type protectors, jars, lids for vials, kinking glasses, bottles, air ducts, fuel tanks, water tanks, fenders, panels, toys games, electronic equipment, pipes and fittings, flooring, lining, partition, water tanks and cisterns, boats and kayaks, furniture, synthetic grass field and carpets (all claimed). ADVANTAGE – The method efficiently and economically provides olefin having high yield and productivity by simple method with reduced emission of greenhouse gases of fossil origin. DETAILED DESCRIPTION – An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for polyolefin.
