NOVELTY – Lignocellulolytic enzyme composition comprises superoxide dismutase having amino acids (SEQ ID NO: 1) and cellulases. USE – Lignocellulolytic enzyme composition used for recovery and conversion of lignocellulosic materials for the production of second generation ethanol or other high added by-products. ADVANTAGE – Lignocellulolytic enzyme composition allows greater release of monomeric sugars for the production of second generation ethanol or other value added by-products. DETAILED DESCRIPTION – INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for: (1) a method for performing enzymatic conversion, which involves pretreating lignocellulosic material; (2) incubating the pre-treated lignocellulosic material with the composition; (3) a vector, which comprises replication origin sequence, selection marker sequence and multiple cloning sites which comprises (SEQ ID NO: 2) operably linked to the heterologous promoter and terminator sequences; and (4) an expression vector, which comprises T7 promoter (370-386), T7 transcription primer (369), coding sequence for His tag (270-287), coding sequence for T7 Tag (207 – 239), multiple cloning sites, including the NheI and BamHI sites, coding sequence for His.tag (140-157), terminator T7 (26-72), coding sequence for lacI (773-1852), source PBR322 origin (3286), coding sequence Kan (kanamicin) (3995-4807) and f1 origin (4903-5358) which comprises (SEQ ID NO: 2) inserted between the Nhel and SamHI sites.
